A Dreamy Autumn Wedding at Gosfield Hall: Emily and Tom’s Magical Day

There’s something beautiful about autumn weddings, and Emily and Tom’s big day at the enchanting Gosfield Hall was everything dreams are made of. Picture a sunny October day, a charming historic venue, and love that filled every corner. From heartfelt moments to fun surprises, their wedding was an unforgettable celebration of their journey together.

A Heartfelt Start

Emily and Tom’s wedding day began with Bride and Groom Prep with each others dearest and nearest. Emily got ready in the beautiful Rocco Suite which is so beautiful. After an emotional First Look with Emily and her Dad, It was then time for the ceremony with all the feels. As the timeless melody of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” played softly on the piano, the anticipation in the room was palpable. Tom’s emotional reaction as the music started tugged at everyone’s heartstrings (including mine)

One by one, Emily’s stunning bridesmaids made their way down the aisle, setting the stage for the grand entrance. Then came Emily, arm in arm with her proud father, his smile as radiant as hers. As the couple exchanged their own personal vows, it was impossible not to be moved by the love and sincerity behind every word.

Confetti and Celebrations

The new Mr and Mrs Monk decided to add a fun twist to their ceremony exit. As they walked back down the aisle, confetti rained down. It was the perfect way to kick off their celebration and transition into their drinks reception.

Picture-Perfect Memories

With the clocks having gone back and daylight in short supply, Emily and Tom jumped straight into their couple and group photo session. The golden autumn light was the ideal backdrop, making their photos truly spectacular. The group shots were full of laughter and fun, while Emily and Tom’s couple portraits captured their natural chemistry.

And then came golden hour – a photographer’s dream! The light bathed Emily and Tom in a warm glow, creating picture-perfect moments that will be cherished forever.

Cake Cutting and a Quick Change

As the evening festivities unfolded, Emily and Tom shared an intimate cake-cutting moment. But the surprises didn’t end there! Emily then wowed everyone with a chic dress change, swapping her wedding gown for a fabulous short dress. It was effortlessly stylish and oh-so-fun, adding a playful vibe to the evening.

A Sparkling Finale

The grand finale of the night was a surprise that Emily’s father had arranged: fireworks! Guests gathered outside to watch the sky light up in a dazzling display, a perfect way to end such a beautiful day. The fireworks added a touch of magic, leaving everyone with hearts full of joy and memories to treasure.

If you’re dreaming of your own magical wedding day and want moments like these captured forever, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create timeless memories together—send me a note today!

Celebrating New Beginnings with Baby Jenson - Suffolk Newborn Photography

Newborn shoots are truly magical, and I adore capturing these precious moments. This particular session held an extra special place in my heart as it was for one of my dearest friends, Denny. When I learned that Denny was going to be a Mummy, I was absolutely thrilled. We had planned a beautiful maternity shoot, and we also discussed the upcoming newborn session.

At 24+2 weeks, Denny went into premature labor, catching us all by surprise. As someone who also works for the NHS in Maternity, I was at work when it happened. I rushed to be by Denny's side, giving her the tightest of hugs before she was whisked off in an ambulance to another unit. Two days later, little Baby Jenson Maverick made his grand entrance into the world, weighing a precious 780g.

As the days and months passed, Baby Jenson continued to astonish everyone. When he reached 100 days old, he was finally ready to go home. Capturing that moment through my lens was incredibly emotional and heartwarming.

After a few weeks of settling into their home, I finally had the pleasure of photographing the special newborn shoot we had planned so many months ago. Denny and Jon have a truly beautiful home, exuding warmth and love from every corner. Their three little dogs, who are definitely part of the family, added an extra layer of joy to the atmosphere. It was heartening to see Jenson in such a loving and non-medical environment.

During the shoot, we took our time, exploring different areas of the house as Denny had shared some inspiration photos with me beforehand. Contrary to popular belief, it's not necessary to have every inch of the house spotless for the shoot – a little clutter here and there adds character, just like in my own home!

As Jenson's feeding time approached, we took a break to reflect on the incredible journey that had led us to this point.

Little baby Jenson was an absolute star throughout the shoot, and the photos captured the immense love showered upon him by his Mummy and Daddy. He's one brave little boy, and I have the utmost admiration for his incredible parents.

A Beautiful Suffolk Engagement Shoot with Brooke & Jack (and little Manny)

I've known Brooke's Mum, Becky, for a while now, after we connected through social media. We met in person when Brooke had her adorable son, Emmanuel, or Manny for short.

On Christmas Day 2023, I found out that Brooke and Jack got engaged. Jack's creative treasure hunt led to a beautiful proposal that warmed everyone's hearts.

I was thrilled to do Brooke and Jack’s engagement shoot, especially when I learned it would take place at Jack's parents' house which Becky had told me was beautiful. Little did I know it would be such a stunning location.

Arriving at the house with its imposing double black gates, I was blown away by the stunning setting which got me even more excited about capturing some wonderful images.

We took a variety of photos both indoors and outdoors and made sure to include little Manny. It was so lovely to see how much he had grown. Capturing Brooke and Jack's joy was a blast, and their love shone through in every photo.  We had so much fun and barely stopped laughing all throughout the shoot, which certainly shows in the images!

I'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding, and it's great to see their plans coming together. Their beautiful house will be a central part of the celebration, and I can't wait to be a part of it.

Engagement shoots are a chance to share in a couple's excitement and for us to get to know each other and for you to feel more comfortable in front of my lens. I really recommend a pre-wedding shoot as you’ll realise that having your photo taken isn’t as scary as you think, and it can be a lot of fun!
